Globe’s Tragic 1904 Flood – A Dramatic Re-enactment
October 12, 2024 @ 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm
$5
On a seemingly tranquil August afternoon in 1904, the sky above the Pinal Mountains darkened as a fierce summer storm unleashed an extraordinary flood, transforming the once-dry Pinal Creek into a torrent of fast-moving water.
Six unsuspecting Globe residents who lived along the creek faced a terrifying fate as this flash flood swept them away. Each of these victims has their own their own unique story to tell, reimagined and performed by the Copper Cities Community Players.
Join us for two performances on October 12 at 1pm and 2:45pm as the Players breathe life into this tragic moment in history, reminding us of the power of nature and the fragility of life.
